Observable Fees
Our fees are based on the time spent to accomplish treatment, complexity of the procedures, and the lab work involved. Payment at the time of service is expected, unless other arrangements have been made in advance. MasterCard, Visa, personal checks, and cash are always accepted as payment.
Your Dental Insurance
If you are covered by an insurance plan, please bring the necessary information with you. As a courtesy to our patients, we will complete and submit insurance claim forms for procedures provided in our office. However, our professional services are rendered to you, not the insurance company. Therefore, please remember that the financial obligation for dental treatment is between you and this office and is not dependent upon insurance coverage.
Our fees for services are the same for all patients, whether or not they have a dental insurance program. Your particular plan may base its allowances on a fee schedule that may not coincide with our office fees. No two contracts, even within the same dental insurance company, are necessarily alike. Some cover part of your expenses, some none. Rarely is coverage one hundred percent. You should inquire about your coverage prior to treatment. It may save you from some unpleasant surprises! All questions concerning your coverage should be directed to your insurance company; they are responsible to you or to your employer and they are the ones who know the terms of your policy.
Since we have no say in the selection of your insurance company, we have no control over when and how payment is made. Therefore, we ask that you look upon your insurance realistically as a device that reimburses you for dental expenses. It is your insurance company and it is in your interest to see that you are reimbursed promptly.
